This canine is  in good health, to the best of our knowledge, at the time of sale. It has been given up to date vaccinations to prevent  known canine illnesses. These are that are listed in a pet health record which will be provided for you. Deworming treatments have been given regularly as shown. However, there is no way to guarantee that this canine is completely free of worms and it will need to be placed on a regularly scheduled deworming program, as recommended by a licensed veterinarian. Dream Acres Kennel will guarantee this puppy until 6 months of age from life-threatening genetic disorder that would result in your puppy having to be put to sleep.

The puppy is sold on the understanding that it will live INDOORS, be socialized properly, and become a member of the family.
Conditions of Replacement
YOU HAVE 48 HOURS TO TAKE YOUR PUPPY TO A VET (if it is shipped, the time begins at shipping time). YOUR PURCHASE PRICE WILL BE REFUNDED OR A REPLACEMENT PUPPY MAY BE CHOSEN IF A LICENSED VET DETERMINES THAT THE PUPPY HAS A  GENETIC  LIFE THREATENING CONDITION WITHIN THE 72 HOURS. IT WILL BE NECESSARY TO PROVIDE PROOF FROM THE VET AND TO RETURN THE PUPPY AND ITS PAPERWORK (VETFINDINGS)  TO US IMMEDIATELY .  After 48 hours, no further replacements or refunds will be given.

The Breeder highly recommends that the purchaser seek the services of a VET that is knowledgeable about this tiny breed in order to avoid any serious problems.

Dream Acres Kennel is not responsible for any vet bills that are incurred with this puppy.

If the puppy has been shipped rather than picked up, and if any life threatening genetic problems arise with your puppy, you agree to return the puppy to us at your cost and to assume cost of shipping the replacement puppy, if shipping is required.

NOTE: We will not be responsible for any puppy that has a sugar drop after they leave our care. Please read up on HYPOGLYCEMIA in chihuahuas, or any Toy Breed. We use preventive measures to prevent this from occuring, and you must do the same to insure the health of your puppy. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to assure proper care is given should Hypoblycemia Symptoms (low blood sugar) occur. You accept all responsibilty for daily feedings, including supplements and force-feeding as necessary.

NOTE: Should the puppy become ill prior to shipping, we will have it treated and will ship it after the puppy is healthy.

NOTE: If you are looking to bring a "Tcup" or "Tiny toy" into your home, take time to reaseach the extra care needed for them. "TCUPS" WILL NOT BE SHIPPED, PICK UP ONLY. "T Cup" an official size according to AKC and CKC standard, but only a slang term for a tiny puppy.

NOTE: The breeder is NOT RESPONSIBLE for associated changes which may occur with moving a puppy to a new home: mental stress, low blood sugar, loose stools, coccidia or Giardia, which can be caused by stress and can develop within hours in transport and has nothing to do with good or bad breeding.(i.e,HYPOGLYCMIA)

NOTE: We recommend that a stool sample be analyzed within 48 hours of the puppy arriving in his new home to assure the puppy has no internal parasites and that it has not developed any stomach stress problems due to the change in environment. If such a problem arises, the purchaser takes full responsibility for the care of the puppy and all vet bills incurred.

THIS GUARANTEE DOES NOT COVER: Parasites internal or external, ringworm, Cocidiosis, Giardia, Hypoglycemia, hepatitis, or Mites. It does not cover injuries caused by a fall or because the puppy was harmed in any way after leaving our care. We recommend that you never leave the puppy without proper care or supervision or alone on a couch, table or bed. The breeder also recommends extra care when closing doors (especially patio doors) and when walking around such a tiny breed.

THIS GUARANTEE DOES NOT COVER the following minor flaws or any condition that is minor and those than can be corrected by Veterinarian intervention:

OPEN FONTANEL or Molera, a soft spot on the head, which is a unique feature of the chihuahua and which may or may not grow closed.

SIZES—we cannot guarantee sizes as adults, we give estimates or guesses, but the are not always correct. Some puppies can just stop growing and others get larger than expected.

TRACHEA Small breeds sometimes develop a peculiar cough due to the collapse of tracheal rings. It can be annoying to the owner of the dog but is not life threatening  to the dog.

HERNIAS of any kind.

TESTICALS not descending.

PATELLA LUXATION in the event that the puppy develops this condition, too short or too long ligaments in the paw, feet, or leg area, the breeder will not be accountable and the purchaser takes full responsibility should the puppy have to be treated at the purchaser's  own expense.
DEATH  In the rare event of death of the puppy the purchaser is required to have a NECROPSY done at their expense. A copy of the results with the exact date and cause of death must be provied to the Seller before any action is taken on this guarantee. Seller is not liable for replacement/refund or medical expenses due to accidents, neglect, theft, carelessness, recklessness abuse or mistreatment of the puppy. If Purchaser choose not to have this puppy checked  by a licensed Veterinarian as outlined above, Seller is released from all liability regarding the puppy's health
NOTICE: Dream Acres Kennel does not deal with puppy brokers or puppy mills. Any puppy purchased from any individual other than Marian or Philip does not carry the Dream Acres Kennel warranty. Beware of puppy brokers and puppy mills. They often misrepresent puppies and sell you something other than what you thought you were getting. A second hand puppy is just that, a second hand with no warranty or certainty of its heritage or background.
